Canterbury Hockey

In Otawhito we were lucky enough to have Canterbury Hockey come in and run the Small Sticks programme. Each T group was given 4 half hour sessions with Sunjay, learning about the different skills involved with hockey. This gave all the students a chance to get involved and use their skills in a game like situation at the end of each session. On Thursday, all the students got to be in teams of 6 or 7 and play a tournament in the hall. It was great to see all the kids getting involved and giving hockey a go.
